Hi everyone, here's my second entry of “All You Can Eat Sushi And Talk Comedy”, all about the one and only Guled Abdi!
Guled is a quiet giant who tries to overcompensate his height by keeping his voice down and mumbling (his words). Whenever he tried to hit on women as a teenager, he would make a joke and then have to repeat it until it just got awkward. He's only been doing stand-up for a year and he's already established himself as a hilarious personality in the city, doing a ton of open mics and improving like crazy. We went out for “All You Can Eat Sushi And Talk Comedy!” and here's some hilarious stuff he said:

We went out for “All You Can Eat Sushi And Talk Comedy!” and here's some hilarious stuff he said:
- “I work at a place called Once Upon A Child where people bring in used children's clothes, which I know sounds weird. One time a dad brought in a child's shirt that said 'I'm a boob man.'”
- “My one theatre credit in high school was One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest where I played a lobotomized patient. My mom saw me onstage and gave me one of those compliments like 'you were there.'”
- “When I was in University, I'd get surprised by midterms. They'd say 'put your books away' and I'd go 'yo this is happening?'”
- “I'd spend so much time at the Eaton Center that I knew when the displays at The Gap had moved.”
- “It's hard to go to sleep when you've done nothing all day.”
- “I'd text this girl to hang out and she'd get to me a month and a half later. Like, my schedule was still open, but she didn't know that!”
